Meet Dr. Chang

Dr. Emory C. Chang is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric hip reconstruction, spinal deformity surgery and orthopedic trauma as an Attending Physician at Miller Children’s Hospital and Tichenor Orthopaedic Clinic.

Dr. Chang received his medical degree from the University of California-San Diego School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Los Angeles County Medical Center through the University of Southern California.  Dr. Chang also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and has taken additional courses on specialized orthopedic treatments for children.

As an active participant in the medical community, Dr. Chang is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the California Orthopaedic Association. Throughout his practice experience, Dr. Chang has also participated as the Primary Investigator in several orthopedic research projects.
